Manhattan has designed and developed a number of different size scrubbers for effective washing applications. The designs focus on robustness and life of mine for harsh mining conditions. Sizes vary but are typically 1.2m to 2.8m in diameter and up to 8m in length.
Manhattan’s in-house design, engineering and latest technology machining facility, allows optimal transfer of Best Technology, Best Concepts and Cost Effective solutions to suit the customers unique requirements.
On-site testing of Manhattan designed and built Scrubbers and Trommel Screens allow for optimal designs and lowest operating cost.
Through Manhattan’s operational experience, significant design improvements have been made to the conventional Trommel Screen. Custom designs are also possible where Clients unique requirements are taken into the final specification.
The trommel screening plants include customized feeding arrangements with either vibrating plate feeders, apron feeders or belt feeders. Long life riding wheels lubricated via an oil-bath ensure low maintenance demand and long-life for components ensuring maximum up-time of the screening plant. Liner protected trommels allow for finer classification cuts for oversize material while extending the life of the trommel.
For in-field or in-pit screening, mobility is an option with large diameter, high-load wheels allowing for frequent relocation of screening plant, keeping it close to the mining face and reducing operating costs.
Manhattan also offers track-mount and skid-mount secondary screens allowing for additional classification and improved materials handling and -haulage costs.
