Static plants are designed based on the projects head feed size in mm, the feed PSD, ore type and crushability and final product requirement.
Based on the crushability of the ore, suitable crushers are selected that would provide the optimal performance in terms of lowest capital cost, optimal wear rate and correct product specification.
Manhattan fabricates the conveyors, feed bins, chute-work, support steel structures and assembles the MCC in-house and the crushers are imported from pre-selected OEM’s.

Aggregate Crushing Plants
Manhattan offers Construction and Road Material aggregate crushing plants, from 30 tph to over 500 tph. Our plants are installed on skid bases or concrete plinths, depending on plant size, and designed to provide low cost, sustainable-volume crushing capacity. Primary Jaw crushers, Gyrator crushers, Rolls Crushers, Impact Crushers are all options utilized to provide the desired product size. Manhattan drafts a mass balance and flow sheet based on the projects parameters, and ensures the client is satisfied with the selected solution. Thereafter the plant is priced and with client approval construction begins. Best Value options are recommended where pertinent, always looking after the clients budget while ensuring quality build.
Chrome crushing circuits
Manhattan custom designs and builds crushing circuits to suit chrome processing plants. The design incorporates the head feed PSD and large lump size, when selecting the primary, secondary and tertiary crushers. Manhattan incorporates a ball mill into the circuit to achieve the 800 micron product size with the optimal processing cost per tonne. A wet screen in closed circuit with the ball mill ensures no overgrind and accurate selection of final product micron size.
